Control Freaks
This all-geek band hails from the sunny and lovely Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA area. And although normal control freaks can make your life a living hell, by dramatic contrast, these Control Freaks serve up sludgy slabs of that crazy rock music thing that the band reference as "The Brown Sound".
On guitar and lead vocals is Capt. Jon Haase, originally from the famed jewel of the East, New Jersey. On a different guitar that is played at the same time is Dr. Graham Payne, with a PHD in guitar violence. On bass and backup vox, behold the deep sonic love of Sir Dave Beaman. And on drums, the Mighty Trey Miles.
The
Freaks are all about lo-fi grooves, and play them heavy. In the face of musical danger do they laugh,
